Of a didactic nature, the work consists of 16 dialogues in which an attempt is made to transmit norms of civility and etiquette between 8 interlocutors, who "like men educated according to court standards, or discreet, transform any village into a court, due to taste of conversation that they consider an exquisite expression of sociability."
