It is probably the work of Cândido Lusitano, Fr. Francisco José Freire and, due to the similarity of the types and vignettes with the work published in the same year with the title »Vida do Infante D. Henrique», it was printed by Francisco Luís Ameno. Of superb graphic execution, the work deals with all the steps taken immediately after the earthquake, therefore having numerous important historical notes on the biggest natural accident to date in Portugal. Rare and sought after.
