FIRST EDITION. VERY RARE. Complete collection of this periodical under the sole responsibility of Cunha Rivara and where a wide range of unpublished documents were published until then. Even today a fundamental source for the study of the history of the Portuguese presence in India, the work is an authentic general archive of “documents, information, memories and reports of ancient and modern events, concerning the history and geography of the eastern nations, and especially the good or bad luck of the Portuguese in that vast theater of their actions” (Inocêncio).
