Segunda edição em língua inglesa, a primeira completa. A primeira edição da tradução de Andrew Motte foi publicada em 1729, em dois volumes, só se reimprimindo em 1803, acrescentada pela primeira vez com a tradução inglesa de “De Mundi Systemate” que Newton sempre desejou ser a terceira parte da “Principia”.
